My client is a an internally recognised retailer of Hair and Beauty goods.

KEY SKILLS

  • Successful candidates must have demonstrable experience in email marketing ideally within retail or ecommerce, with strong knowledge of email marketing tools (Emarsys experience highly desirable).

  • Experience in retail marketing 

  • Experience in relevant – SMS, Email, Digital & CRM 

  • Experience in event driven / automated communication

RESPONSIBILITIES

SMS Strategy Development:

  • Define the SMS strategy for the business, including an annual plan covering BAU campaigns, automated programmes, CRM activity, and discount triggers.

  • Collaborate with the CRM team on customer segmentation and targeting.

Budget Management:

  • Manage the SMS budget.

  • Monitor SMS usage and credits to ensure maximum value for money.

  • Request required translations from agencies.

Omni-Channel, Automation & Personalisation:

  • Manage all automated programmes in UKI and CE, including regular monitoring and improvements.

  • Utilise the Emarsys platform to execute omni-channel campaigns to improve customer experience and aid conversion.

  • Participate in scoping sessions for new or optimising existing customer lifecycle programmes.

  • Adopt an ‘automate first’ approach to programme and campaign execution.

Team Management:

  • Manage the Digital Communications Specialist and have dotted line responsibility for the Digital Communications Coordinator.

  • Ensure accurate workload scheduling on a weekly basis.

  • Develop and ensure direct reports have up-to-date PDPs and objectives.

  • Manage the performance of direct reports through 1:1s, coaching, and consistent feedback.
